  • Animal healing models used doses far above what human users typically take, and rodent tendon biology heals differently from human tendon.
  • No adequately powered randomised human trial of BPC-157 for tendinopathy has been published.
  • Reported benefit in humans is anecdotal and confounded by the natural course of tendon healing plus concurrent rehab.
