Are peptides legal in Idaho?

What this means practically
Approved peptide drugs such as semaglutide, tirzepatide, and tesamorelin are obtainable in Idaho with a valid prescription from a licensed practitioner, dispensed by a licensed pharmacy. Telehealth access is permitted.
Peptides on the FDA's 503A Category 2 bulk list — including BPC-157, CJC-1295, ipamorelin, and thymosin alpha-1 — cannot lawfully be compounded by any pharmacy in Idaho, regardless of state rules, because the restriction is federal. Products sold online as "research chemicals" are not approved for human use.
